THANK YOU!!!!!!

Jo and I want to express our deep appreciation for the wonderful sendoff you the church gave us on Sunday. It truly was a day that created even more meaningful memories for the both of us. As I (Bill) mentioned on Sunday it has been an honor and privilege to have served this wonderful community of faith for these past 11 ½ years. Thank you for your love and support throughout the years.

We also want to say thank you to those who expressed their love through cards and letters and gifts. They were thoughtful and so encouraging. Words cannot not suffice to reveal our hearts for all of you.

I (Bill again) want to correct an oversight in my comments from last Sunday. While expressing appreciation for the staff I have been privileged to serve with, past and present, I failed to mention Sue Adams, our Wedding and Baptism Coordinator. Sue has been on staff in that position for over 20 years. She is currently the longest serving staff member. Her contribution to my time at the church has been profound. Her support and encouragement to me is and was a true highlight for me in my time at the church. There were a number of times when it was a challenge to manage the weddings and weekend responsibilities and Sue would be there to help me get through and be ready for Sunday. So thank you Sue!!

I also failed to mention the significant support and encouragement the Elder Board gave me during my tenure as Senior Pastor. It was a privilege to serve with the Board in helping to address a number of important issues regarding the spiritual needs of the church. I am so thankful for the men and lady who have served over these past 11 years as elders. May you the church continue to support them and the staff as they seek to build into your lives with the love and truths of Christ.

So allow us a final thank you to all who have called LGCC their church home over these past 11 ½ years. Know that God is with you as you move forward and that He has great things in mind for this little piece of His great kingdom. I urge you to remain faithful for He who goes before you is faithful indeed.

Blessings to you all,

Pastor Bill and Jo Moore
