EDGE

EDGE is our dynamic, energetic and community-based youth ministry for middle school and high school students to explore faith in Jesus Christ and how to fulfill His will for their lives.

EDGE 3E Vision

By the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, we:

  1. Encourage non-believers to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior (John 1:12-13)
  2. Equip new believers with God’s Word (2 Tim. 3:16)
  3. Empower mature believers to take on Christ’s ministry and succeed (1 Cor. 12:12-31, 2 Tim. 2:1-2).

EDGE – Jr. High & Sr. High Together

We are currently meeting on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-9pm unless we are doing a special ministry or event. We spend much of the time playing various team-building games/sports, but we also investigate and apply God's Word, spend time in worship and prayer as well as connecting with one another in small groups. Students have a chance to discover and share who they are; their joys, struggles, hurts, questions and passions.

We welcome you to come and do life in Christ with us.  Please contact Pastor Tony for more information.

Why EDGE? Students at this age are on the EDGE of entering into adulthood. They are also at the precipice of making decisions that will have an eternal and lifelong impact. It is our prayer that they will make that step of faith and embrace the journey God has for them.

Current Series

Our current series is on the Holy Spirit Students are diving into Scripture, Worship and Prayer and learning to experience and interact with the Holy Spirit and what He can do in their everyday life. In the summer months our students will be seeking to reexamine their relationship with Christ, grow in friendship and unity with each other and discover how the Holy Spirit has uniquely gifted them and empowers them to live in obedience and bear fruit that lasts.

"hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."  Romans 5:5 (ESV)

S.O.S. Opportunities

S.O.S. (Service over Self) is a ministry that helps our students to recognize needs outside of just themselves. We are always looking to equip our students with opportunities to go out and serve those in the community who find themselves in need. We recently took a group to Faith Acres Sharing Pantry in Island Lake.

Contact Pastor Tony for more info about upcoming S.O.S. opportunities.
