LGCC Outreach

The mission of the Long Grove Community Church Outreach support is to transform lives by showing our love for God, living the word and serving people by serving our neighbors in the way Jesus did, as compassionate servants.  We do this through supporting a variety of missions organizations and teams both locally and internationally, as well as having a monthly serving opportunity for our church, called Serve Saturday.  


Below you will find information about the different organizations we support financially and through prayer.  

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Darryl Cedergren

Mission Aviation Fellowship desires to see isolated people changed by the love of Christ by serving together to bring help, hope, and healing through aviation.


Long grove Community Church supports the Cedergren's as they work with Mission Aviation Fellowship to deliver Bibles, supplies and support to isolated people around the world. Darryl works in the MAF financial department at their headquarters in Idaho, working to secure funds in order to fulfill the mission of MAF.  


We love when the Cedergren's can stop by on a Sunday to share an update on their ministry. Recently they shared an update with us via their newsletter that you can access here.

Mission Impact

Kathy Dostal

Mission Impact's passion is to reflect the Glory of God in Guatemala through twelve dynamic, nationally lead, long-term ministries that focus on eleven areas of education, health, nutrition, community development, appropriate technology, pastoral training, and spiritual formation through making disciples.


We support the Dostal family in their work with Mission Impact.

Rotolu

Julius Lawal

Rotolu is a children's home located in Nigeria that Long Grove Community Church has supported for several years. Julius used to live in what is currently the church office with his son Segun, and served as the church janitor while he was working on his doctorate degree from Trinity International University.  Segun still lives in the area and occasionally visits LGCC and shares an update from his family in Nigeria.

Faith Acres

Jeff & Jodie Clow

Faith Acres Foundation is a Christ centered non-profit helping you help others in need through prayer, relationships, health and finance.


LGCC has been involved with Faith Acres for several years.  Founders, Jeff & Jodi Clow, stop occasionally to share the impact LGCC is making through Faith Acres in the community.  You can find LGCC volunteers serving at one of the Faith Acres sharing centers on a Serve Saturday.

Reliant H2O

Kyle Winters

H2O Church is a gospel-centered community whose mission is to love God and our neighbors, reach the next generation, and send missionaries out into the world.  Kyle serves as a pastor at H2O Church at Ohio State university.  The H2O church network is passionate about bringing the Good News of Christ to College Campuses, through starting campus communities and churches.

Teach Beyond

Pete Sanderlin

TeachBeyond provides teaching and learning services in order to see individuals and communities become all God intends, promoting holistic personal growth and enduring social benefit.


LGCC supports Pete Sanderlin and his mission with TeachBeyond.


Pete recently sent LGCC a prayer letter with some updates, to read it, click here.  We are excited that Pete will be in town to join us for one of our worship services, on Sunday, June 26th.  We look forward to having him join us in person!
