I'm New

"It's the people who make this church a wonderful place.  No one pretends to be perfect, everyone is open about their struggles, and all are accepted with open arms."

What to expect on your first visit?

While the vision of LGCC for worship is to be a church in which every generation encounters God in spirit-led worship, our ministry is first to the Lord, then to the people. Our goal is to turn “song time” into “worship time” blessing and ministering to God. We want people so excited about the Lord and the church that they are eager to join us on Sunday morning, get involved in serving, and bring their friends to church.

Every Sunday we offer two services, an early service at 8:30 am and a late morning service at 10:30 am.

Both services are held in the Community House.

The 8:30 service requires that masks be worn the entire service.

The 10:30 service requires masks to be worn while moving around, and while singing, but can be removed while you are seated.  Sunday school is offered during the 10:30 service for children from birth through fifth grade.

Twice a month, our Edge student ministry meets for Equip during the 10:30 service.

We offer church online during our 10:30 service.  Church online allows you an opportunity to interact with other members of the congregation through public chat, or to pray with a staff member through private chat.  To join us for church online, click here.

At Long Grove Community Church we practice open communion. People are not required to be members of our fellowship to participate. We ask only that they know Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

After service please feel free to introduce yourself to any member of our ministry staff -- we would love to meet you!

Join us for coffee and community after the service in the Community House.

Prayer is an important part of our ministry at Long Grove Community Church.  We hold a weekly prayer night where we gather together in person and online as a community for worship, a time of corporate prayer, and a time to pray for our congregation and community.  Everyone is welcome.

If you are in need of prayer, please visit our prayer wall to submit a prayer request.  We have a prayer team that regularly prays for the prayer requests that come in.
